The 100% hermetic sealing grants, without any additive, the prefect presentation of the products and its total protection against any external contaminations. The VALKO manual traysealers with hermetic sealing are recommended for the packaging of ready meals, meats, sliced meats, fish and vegetables. This kind of packaging, however, does not extend in any way the shelf life of the product.
Gas Flushing is a packaging technique that grants a longer shelf life than the standard hermetic sealing. The injection of a gas mixture in the tray leads, indeed, to a progressive air dilution and consequently to a reduction of the residual oxygen and an increase of the product shelf life.
Packing with MAP means keeping the original texture, properties and characteristics of a fresh food as long as possible.
As a first step, the air is completely sucked through the vacuuming process from the pack and then this same air is replaced with the right percentage of gas mixture, properly selected according to the packed product.
Finally, a perfect sealing completes this packaging process. In this way, thanks to an adequate packaging material and to natural gases, we preserve the food quality and we obtain a longer shelf life, reaching days or even weeks of freshness.
Suggested for pasta and filled pasta, bakery products, delicate products, red and white meat, vegetables.

Skin-Packaging is the key to promote and preserve your product. The main advantage of this way of packing is the avoiding of any gases when vacuuming. This allows obtaining a longer shelf life rather than the one guaranteed with a MAP packing.
How does Skin-Packaging work? With this process a heated film encloses the product tightly, vacuum is used to draw the film down onto the package, creating a secure and attractive package. Your packed product can now be displayed vertically, horizontally, or even suspended because the film skin fixes the contents of the pack and the complete sealing prevents any liquids in the product from escaping, like a second skin.
Skin-Packaging: the perfect recipe to provide a unique combination of longer shelf life and a perfect product presentation.
Suggested for high quality meat cuts, fish, shellfish, seafood and cheese.
