As anticipated, the 41st edition of HOST in Milan recorded an unparalleled turnout, with thousands of visitors hailing from around the world showing great interest in packaging and sous vide cooking. VALKO CBT CONTEST The 2nd edition of the VALKOCBT Contest has come to an end. The event held on Monday, 21st October 2019 was undoubtedly a final with many surprises in store and a lot of entertainment. Before an exceptional jury composed of Luca Monica, Felix Lo Basso and Marco Pirotta, the 5 talented finalists competed until the very end. To triumph were: 1st place - Stefano Ballarino 2nd place - Albert Carollo 3rd place - Francesca Santin
Winning the highly coveted 1st prize of the VALKOCBT Contest was the Chef Stefano Ballarino of the Villa d'Este resort in Cernobbio (Como) with the dish "Lamb cooked 2 ways, with wild fennel, smoked cauliflower, apricot and almond yogurt". This comes as a great achievement for a Chef who demonstrated exceptional talent and inventiveness right from the outset.
A sincere thanks goes to the entire VALKO Staff to have demonstrated once again that there are competent and motivated people behind this company who go above and beyond each day; people willing to work hard to better interpret our customers’ needs.
